Beginning this Wednesday and continuing through Friday, milling operations will be conducted on Seventh Street in downtown Lynchburg. Seventh Street from Church to Main Streets will be closed for the duration of the project. In addition, milling on Eighth Street will take place in a one block area from Church to Main Streets. The lower block from Main to Commerce Streets will be re-striped for two-way traffic. Stop signs and traffic signals will be changed to accommodate the new traffic patterns.
