State Police say an accident on Timberlake Road sent two people to the hospital Sunday. Sources say the crash occurred just after 5p.m at the intersection of Laxton in Campbell County. Officials say one driver turning left onto Timberlake, failed to yield to oncoming traffic and was struck by another—that driver has been charged with failure to yield the right of way. The drivers of the two vehicles were transported to Lynchburg General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries; a passenger was not injured. Both drivers were charged with failure to wear a seat belt.
