board elections logoVirginia elections officials say some voting equipment used in the November election doesn’t meet state requirements. Concerns were expressed earlier this week regarding the process being outdated after some of the voting machines were not able to reject over-votes or under-votes, allowing ballots to be inspected manually. According to the State Board of Elections chairman, the lack of uniformity in voting equipment used across the state is problematic. Media outlets report the board will likely decide to decertify some of the old equipment.
