city lynchburg logoLynchburg’s new trash program is now in effect; and the blue bags went on sale Monday.  Nearly two dozen vendors are signed up to sell the 33-gallon bags so far; most have received their first shipment, but some still are awaiting deliveries. Customers will be expected to use the blue bag system instead of the old stick-on tag system. The bags, sold in rolls of five will cost more than the tags. Officials say any tags already purchased will be accepted until June 30. Visit -or- CLICK HERE for a list of vendors selling bags.
