The Genworth Virginia 10 Miler is celebrating its 41st year this weekend. Organizers are expected over 4,000 runners on the historic course, which has consistently attracted athletes; and hosted participants from around the globe. This year it will be the National Championship for the Road Runners Club of America. Participants began picking up their packet last night…registration and other 10-Miler festivities continue through this evening with the Amazing Mile Children’s Run. Tomorrow, thousands will take part in either the 10 mile run the 4 mile run and 4 mile walk. The race starts at 8 a.m. in front of E.C. Glass High School.
