Virginia’s Back to School Sales Tax Holiday This Weekend

Virginia’s annual back-to-school sales tax holiday will be in effect this Friday through Sunday. The state’s 5.3 percent sales tax will be waived on purchases of most school and office supplies — for products priced at $20 or less per item — and clothing priced at $100 or less per item.
