Witness Testified Suspect’s Cell Phone Was In Town On Day of Murder

The second day of testimony in a local murder case included the ex-wife of the suspect taking the stand; and an engineer with AT&T, who testified cellphone records from Scott Miles’ phone indicated his phone was in Lynchburg on the evening of Dec. 19, 2012; the night that Lynda Yeatts Slocum was killed. Miles has pleaded not guilty. The trial resumes this morning at 9am.
