A Campbell County woman is dead from stab wounds … and two Rustburg residents are charged in connection with her murder. The Sheriff’s office say 46-year-old Valerie Harris was found with multiple stab wounds Wednesday night inside her Evington home; she died later at Lynchburg General Hospital. 46-year-old Debra Fay Crews-Newman faces a second degree murder charge. 54-year-old Glenn Farmer is charged with assault and battery. Both are jailed without bond. Investigators say the fatal stabbing followed a physical altercation.
