Police say the driver has been charged with reckless driving, but the investigation into the cause of a single car accident Thursday morning is still ongoing. Authorities are trying to determine what caused the crash that sent the driver to the hospital after her car left the road went through a stand of trees and hit a fire hydrant on Carroll Avenue. No one else was injured.
