It was Dennis’s last show and it was a big one! The legend, Frank Beamer, came on to welcome DC to retirement. Jamie and a whose who list of special guests gave their best wishes in the second half of the show.
Former Redskin, Rick “Doc” Walker was on and excited about the new stadium proposal in DC and the draft. Damien Sordelett of the Roanoke Times also broke down the draft for the Hokies and how the rosters are looking in Blacksburg.

It was a big show as Dennis and Jamie welcomed in this year’s Dennis Carter Student Athlete Scholarship winners. Kayla Hudgens of William Campbell and Alec Stickle of Heritage are the recipients of $1,000 scholarships to their respective universities, courtesy of James River Media and Play It Again Sports. Virginia Tech Football Coach Brent Pry also joined the the guys to talk Hokies.

Dennis and Jamie were talking about what the Mt. Rushmore of Liberty, UVa and Virginia Tech sports would be with Damien Sordelett of the Roanoke Times. NBA expert Johnny Newman also gave his thoughts on the playoffs.
